IIW:V-1:
1)Material: carbon steel
2)Dimensions: 300mmL*100mmW*25mmT.
3)Application: Used for calibration of shear and longitudinal transducers, and verification of shear wedge exit point and refracted angle. Can also be used for resolution and sensitivity checking. Includes a 100mm radius on one end . Also includes a 50mm diameter and a 1.5mm diameter hole.
In accordance with International Institute of Welding and ASTM E164
specifications. Metric version available.
In addition the E164 metric version, we also make the Euro-version V1 block.

IIW:V-2:
Description:
12.5mm thick,small calibration block for on-site checking of miniature shear wave probe index, time base, beam angle and gain. Includes a 25mm and 50 mm radius, 1.5mm hole (or 5mm), engraved reference mark scales from 35 to 75 degrees. In accordance with BS EN 27963:1992, ISO 7963 Cal block No. 2, Fig. 1.

? Also available in 20mm and 25mm thicknesses for calibration of non-miniature probes.

DAC Setting DAC characteristics for shear wave and compression wave probes. Flaws typically 1.5mm diameter holes at 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% of thickness.

ASME:
Setting sensitivity levels for weld testing. Sizes and locations of flaws are dependent on weld thickness.
